Brian Davies is a professional comedian. He moved to the US from Canada at the age of 9, and grew up in the quiet suburbs of Pennsylvania. Immediately after graduation from high school, he served in the United States Marine Corps for 8 years. It was during his military service that he found he had the talent for comedy. Based on a bet from his co workers he finally decided to give the comedy act a try. After an open mic competition at the Tampa Improv in Florida, he won and then competed in the Survivor Series on his second attempt. Since then his comedy career has blossomed quickly. Brian is a seasoned MC and a feature act. He has worked at Improv Comedy Circuit in Florida and throuout the state. He now works at The Comedy Zone. He is currently the opening act for 105.7 radio morning show Comedian Earl David Reed and in 2010, he will open for Earl at the Pullo Center at Penn St. York campus when Earl performs for HBO executives. Brian has a way with the crowd! Audiences seem to be drawn to his confidence and casual delivery on stage.

Lotus Niraja is the Executive Director of the Belly Dance Nationals Competition. Widely recognized for her dance style, dramatic energy, and vibrant interpretation and technique, Lotus Niraja is a professional Middle Eastern dance artist specializing in Contemporary and Modern Egyptian and Lebanese belly dance styles. Known for her drum solos, shimmy technique, and warm and giving spirit, her dance style is dynamic, infused with glamour and style! Lotus is the Artistic Executive Director and a Principal Choreographer of the award winning, internationally known troupe, The NDC (The Niraja Dance Company) and the Executive Director of the Belly Dance Nationals Competition.

But....this time...she is a servant for the 2009 BDNC. Looking forward to producing and directing this event, Lotus will remain low-key and administrative. You might even find her in the Business Center of the hotel!
